# Share a profile with @

> Tag someone with @ and they show up in the chat as a card the other person can tap.

Say you want to introduce someone to a person you're connected with. Type `@` and a name, and the chat gets a card with their photo, a line about them, and a `Talk` button.

## Find it

Open a connection chat (`Chats`, then the person). The message box at the bottom, `Message` and their name, is where `@` works.

## Use it

**1. Type @**

Type `@` and a few letters of the handle. People who match are listed above the box.

**2. Pick someone**

Tap the person. Their handle sits in your message, and you can add a few words around it.

**3. Send**

Tap `Send`. The chat shows their card: name, `@handle`, one line about them, up to three topics, and a `Talk` button that opens a chat with their brain.

## Good to know

* **Connection chats only.** In a chat with someone's brain, or with your own, `@` does nothing.
* **Both sides see it.** The card looks the same to the person you sent it to, and their `Talk` button works for them too.
* **A tap on the name** opens that person's brain.
