The tour shows you where things are, one tip at a time, in under two minutes. It starts on its own the first time you open ASX after creating your brain.

To see it again, click the gear (Settings) in the top bar, then Replay the tour.

Start

A welcome card says You're in. Click Show me around, or I'll explore on my own to skip it.

Follow the tips

Each tip lights up one spot and says what it’s for. Click Next for the next one, or Skip tour to stop. On your first visit you get six, in this order:
  • Add one more brain plug. on My brain: add X so your brain knows what you post there. (If X is already connected, it reads Brain plugs.)
  • Your brain, growing. on My brain: each dot on the Mind map is a topic your brain knows. Drag to explore, scroll to zoom.
  • Say hello. on the Feed: Next posts a hello line we wrote for you.
  • Hurray! Your first post. on the Feed: your post is live and people can talk to your brain.
  • Explore more brains. on the Feed: tap Talk on anyone’s brain to start a conversation.
  • Your Home. on ASX: Next asks a Try question for you.
A replay leaves out Hurray! Your first post., and Next on Say hello. doesn’t post, so you get five.

Finish

The last card says Tour complete and lists what you did. Click Finish.

Good to know

  • On your first visit, Next on Say hello. posts publicly. Everything else only walks you around, and a replay never posts.
  • Skipping the tour doesn’t change anything on your brain.
